I started in financial services right after graduating from Wabash College in 2000 with a degree in Economics and a minor in History. More than two decades later, I still find this work deeply rewarding. There's something genuinely satisfying about helping people reach their most important financial goals, whether that's planning for a 30-year retirement, funding their children's education at dream schools, or building generational wealth for future family members. The right knowledge combined with thoughtful planning can make a real difference in people's lives.

I hold the CFP®, ChFC®, BFA, and CPFA® designations, which reflect my commitment to staying current with the complexities of financial planning and the evolving needs of the clients I serve.

My wife Rebecca and I have called Carmel home since 2009, and we have two kids who keep us busy. Over the past 12 years, I've coached youth sports including softball, baseball, basketball, and soccer. Right now, I'm helping coach basketball and soccer at Our Lady of Mt Carmel school. Our entire family practices martial arts together, and my wife and kids compete at a high level in karate. Between homework and driving to practice every night, life stays full. I complain about the schedule sometimes, but honestly, I love every second of it.

I am currently registered to sell securities in Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, and Tennessee. If you live in another state, let us know, as we may be able to help.

Why Do Credentials Matter in Financial Planning?

Financial designations, like CFP® and ChFC®, are not required in order to claim a title of financial planner or adviser. A lack of designation indicates no requirements in experience, past or continuing education, certification exam, ethics, or enforcement of a code of conduct. On the other hand, not all designations are alike in the extent of their requirements. In choosing a financial adviser, it is crucial to understand his or her qualifications and certifications.
